AMB Session Mono Trial

Session Mono began with a typeface commissioned as part of the visual identity for a festival near Amsterdam in 2019. From there, the initially very geometric structure of the project, inspired by the Amsterdam School, gradually evolved towards a design featuring more rounded and flexible shapes, along with a slightly reversed contrast.

Session Mono is influenced by IBM typefaces like Manifold, Orator, or Dual Gothic, as well as more contemporary design elements, featuring distinct peculiarities, notably the extended s.

Nevertheless, this alphabet remains versatile and adaptable for various uses.
